Craftin’ Outlaws is holding it’s EPIC alternative craft fair this Saturday, at the Columbus Convention Center. So much handmade quality, so much creativity– it’s a fabulous way to mix it up this weekend. SOOO, community of The Hub–we need some volunteers to assist with the Craft Crawl, an event at the fair, only for kids 10 and under. Craft Crawl starts at 4pm and runs to 7 pm (close), and is located in the lobby of Battelle Grand on Saturday November 10th!
Craft Crawl: Starting at 4PM, Outlaws 10 and under can enjoy shopping from handmade items between $5 – $10! Vendors and sponsors are donating handmade items and kids are offered a space to shop for themselves or for a loved one. This is only for kids 10 and younger! Proceeds raised are going to our non-profit partners. Items are limited and there’s a limit to 1 item per child.
Reminiscent of the old Lazarus ‘Secret Santa Shop’ (that I loved to use as a child) parents/guardians are not allowed in the Craft Crawl. Hence we will need one volunteer posted outside the room letting kids in when others leave and one volunteer inside the room accepting money from the child. Keeping around 2 kids in the room at a time.
We are looking for 4 – 6 volunteers, to participate for a one-hour long shift(if you are interested in longer- great). Shifts available:
An officer of the PTO will be there to help get volunteers set up.
Craft Crawl is located in the lobby of Battelle Grand, near the Craftin’ Outlaws Headquarters.
If you are able to help please email Tami Wise at firstname.lastname@example.org, and include the time you would be available. Thank you THANK YOU!
